We offer professional teeth whitening procedures that are simple and provide lasting results, providing both in-office and take-home whitening options for the convenience of our patients. This is not the same as drugstore or over the counter teeth whitening products, these solutions will work to give you the whiter, brighter smile you want.

Take-Home Whitening

With our take-home whitening option, we create a customized tray for you to use in the comfort of your own home. First, we take impressions of your smile and specially craft a thin plastic tray that will fit comfortably and securely in your mouth. Our professional-grade bleaching product is then used to fill the trays for up to 30 minutes a day for 10-14 days to transform the shade of your teeth.

In-Office Bleaching

Our in-office bleaching option is excellent for people who need a drastic transformation in a short period of time. Getting married this weekend? In-office bleaching is the solution for you! In-office bleaching is also great for people who have heavy staining and discoloration due to things like tetracycline. As with any bleaching option, teeth tend to lose their brightness overtime, so our in-office bleaching also includes a set of customized take-home bleaching trays to keep up on your smile.

Touchups

Touchups can be done every 3-6 months depending on your need. The benefit of this treatment is that once you have your customized tray, you can simply purchase more professional bleach, as needed, for an affordable price. The initial customized bleaching kit generally provides enough product to use for 1 year.

Smiles in the Gardens has been my dental practice for over 20 years. Six members of my family also see the dentists and hygienists there. You are told right up front whether insurance will cover your treatment. They have an in-house dental plan that is available to anyone, which in the long run, is a better deal than dental insurance.Recently, one of my family members met and was treated by Dr. Barry who he likes very much, and who he felt was very competent and thorough. The staff at Smiles at the gardens was amazing, as soon as I walked in Dulcie made me feel right at home. She gave me a very informative tour of the facility making me feel super comfortable right away. I then was introduced to my hygienist Kristen, she was a bundle of joy and did a great job as well. The customer service in this office is excellent! I was greeted warmly by everyone that I encountered ( and it felt genuine). I was given a tour and introduced to staff in different areas of the practice, and presented with thoughtful complimentary gift. First of all the staff is incredible from the time you check in through check out. Julianne assisted me at the front desk and she was all smiles and very helpful. Nicole was the hygienist who did my cleaning. She was thorough, fast and kind and didn’t hurt me once. She also listened to me when I told her about a situation I was having in my mouth and handled it perfectly. Dr. Shry is great. I’ve been using him for too many years to remember. He has treated my whole family, my 4 children, who are now grown and me, who will keep going to him even after he retires. He addressed the issue in my mouth and made me feel calm and took away what I was concerned about. He did my exam that would have been done after my cleaning at that time so that when my cleaning was done I was free to go. Check out was easy as well and I signed up for a special package for my cleanings and my crowns that I scheduled.
